Our rates and pricing policy |
The best way
for us to give you a full quotation is to visit the site
at your convenience from which we can gain the full picture.
However we do understand that many of our customers are
initially trying to get an estimation of the cost and are
sometimes unhappy for a tradesman to visit for fear of pressure
selling. Please rest assured you will not experience
such sales tactics with R.H. Fencing. We will survey the
site and then contact you by your requested method with a full
and final price. There are no hidden extras and we do not change
the price as we go along.
Although not
ideal we can sometimes provide you with an estimation of
the cost without visiting the site using as much information from you as possible.
Naturally if the fence is at the front of the property we can
see it from outside, perhaps if we are passing, or perhaps we
can take a look using the internet i.e.Google Earth. For your
information below are some of the considerations that will
affect our rates and which can be difficult to process without
viewing the site. |
1.
Access to the site for workers, materials and
machinery. How far do materials and tools have to be carried. |
2.
Cutting back of overgrowth to reach the fence and
establish a satisfactory fence line. |
3.
The associated amount of area to work within.
Often sheds, greenhouses, conservatories etc. prevent us working
on one side of the fence and present problems with such fences
as close board fencing. |
4.
If there is an existing fence, the time and labour
to dismantle it. |
5.
The costs involved in removing the old fence,
unearthed hardcore and green waste from the property and
disposing of it correctly. We can avoid these costs if you wish
to dispose of the waste yourself. |
6.
Difficulties and/or costs associated with possible
underground services and substructures i.e. electric, gas,
water, drains, foundations etc. |
7.
Ground type into which post holes must be bored.
Naturally the harder the ground type the longer it takes.
|
8.
The amount of concrete required for the post
plugs. Softer less dense soil requires more concrete than harder
ground. |
9.
The contours and/or levels of the ground which may
necessitate additional materials and/or modifications either
manually or with
machinery. |
10.
Access to water
and electricity. |
|
If you would like to
send your request to
info@rhfencing.co.uk together with any information that you
think will help including site location address, fence type and
height together with any pictures etc. then we will do our best
to provide an estimation. Alternatively and preferably contact
us to arrange a free site survey and quotation which also allows
us to offer our advice. |
